Adams Crossing is Atlanta's Westside Premier AddressStately Living Close to Everything in a Park Like Setting
Adams Crossing is a recently developed neighborhood in northwest Atlanta, Georgia just east of the I-285 corridor and south of the Chattahoochee River. It sits next to the once thriving railroad yard that ran through Atlanta in its Industrial Age and right below the intersection of Marietta Road and Bolton Road. The public elementary school, Bolton Academy, can also be found to the east of the new development. It is also embedded in one of the highest elevations of the city as well which can allow for sweeping views of the Midtown and Downtown skylines to the east.
This neighborhood was a result of the gentrification that took place starting in the early 2000’s of the once industrial Westside. Pressure from Cobb County, Buckhead and Cascade Heights begged for the declining west portion of the city to be revitalized to promote citywide growth once again.
A number of fast food and local restaurants (Westside Pizza, Carniceria Ramirez) can be found right around Adams Crossing along with a newly built Publix to provide convenience for families. Two of Atlanta’s parks can be found to the west (Spink Collins Park) and to the south (Crest Lawn Memorial Park) for individuals to walk their animals or exercise.
Also to the east of the subdivision is the newly developed shopping center called Westside Village @ Moores Mill which will be completed in Spring 2018. It will boast a number of restaurants, retail stores and respective townhouses on site to provide another convenience to new Atlanta homebuyers. This provides a number of attractions and allocations in proximity to Adams Crossing to make it one of Atlanta’s newest premiere subdivisions.
